About Natasha Asghar

Born and raised in Wales, Natasha has become a highly successful TV presenter, Radio DJ,Author and Host.

She has worked with an array of prominent channels, which include,ZEE TV, Zing, SONY, Star Plus,B4U, NDTV Imagine,Colors and BBC.She is not just a pretty face, and holds a Distinction for her Masters from the University of London.Over the years,she has worked with countless celebrities from across the globe and is a well respected name and brand.

2001- Spent time as a researcher for BBC (Wales) News and Radio News, Cardiff.

2003- Modelled for Burlington’s (Hairdresser) London.

2005- Began Hosting Khoobsoorat  (Beautiful) a live weekly fashion, health and lifestyle show for Vectone Urdu

2006- Presented numerous shows, free of cost on Vectone Tv to raise money for families affected by the earthquake in Kashmir.

2007- Fronted Barclays Bank’s Award winning corporate DVD and magazine, called 'The Works.' Also, interviewed the CEO of retail Banking.

2008- Researcher at BBC Asian Network ‘Breakfast show’ in Birmingham

2009: Began hosting B4U Music’s weekly show ‘Talk of the Town’

  • Interviewed Celebrity Big Brother Winner Shilpa Shetty
  • Shot and presented the B4U Music, Bridal Special, with Guinness World record holder (Joshiv)
  • Attended‘Diwali in the House of Commons’ and interviewed Eastenders star, Nitin Ganatra.(Masood)
  • Hosted the‘Navratri special’ at the SKLPC centre in Northolt, London.
  • Shot the B4U Music’s Diwali special‘Nibbles and whiskey’ at the Cinnamon Club with world renowned Chef Vivek Singh and CEO of Whyte and Mackay.
  • Hosted the launch of the new Guajarati restaurant,‘Meera’s, in Queensbury (London.)
  • Hosted the B4U channels 10 year Anniversary atThe Collection, Knightsbridge (London). Where I interviewed celebrities such as AG Dolla, Sham D and Bollywood film, ‘Aladdin’s’ leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez
  • Presented the B4U Music Bajao night at GK2 (Finchley-London), attended by Sham D and others.
  • Launched the re-opening of theParker Macmillan Night-club at the Barbican, London.
  • Filmed the ‘Colours’ series for Brit Asia (Birmingham)
  • Shot the Prestige (cars) Ad for UK based Bengali channels

2010:

  • Hosted the Premier for international film‘Kites’  starring Hritik Roshan and Barbara Mori  at Leicester square
  • Hosted theAsian Wedding Bridal Exhibition at Alexandra Palace, London.
  • Interviewed Bollywood heartthrobs Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal for Bengali channel NTV,for their new film ‘We are Family’.
  • Began hosting and producing her alias,Nikki Neru  Radio show Buzz Asia 963-972AM-Weekdays 11pm-1am-Agony Aunt show,dealing with personal, professional and social problems of the listeners.-Show was nominated, under ‘Best Radio Show’ category for a UK AMA after only 3 months.

2011:

  • Hosted BUZZ Asia’s event ‘A night called JUICE’at METRA,Leicester square
  • Hosted B4U Wedding special at Baylis House,Slough.
  • Hosted the Bollywood Exclusive viewing of the film ‘Thankyou’Hosted a Q&A with  Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar and his fans-London
  • Working as a Presenter/Producer for Games-station-Online
  • Face of for Asian Bride TV-Presenting shows/Hosting Events/Conducting interviews
  • Writing an ‘Agony Aunt’column for Asian Woman Magazine
  • Interviewed American singer ‘Tara Priya’ and ‘Raghav’ for B4U Christmas special
  • Hosted the UTV Premier for UTV’s ‘Eik Mein aur Eikk Tu’with Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan.

Jan 2012-DEC 2013:

  • Hosted B4U Talk of the Town, New Year Special with singing sensation Raghav and Tara Priya
  • Presented the Film Premier of ‘Teri Meri Kahani‘ with singer Navin Kundra starring Quantico star Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor.
  • Presented a B4U Music Indian classic dancing special with Kathak dancer Deepa Menon.
  • Interviewed Bollywood singer Roop Kumar Rathod and Sonali Rathod for the SaReGa tour for B4U Music
  • Hosted the Premier for Bollywood Actor Ranbir Kapoor’s new film‘Barfi’
  • Hosted UNESTA Property exhibition, Wembley, London.
  • Presented the UK AMA (Asian Music Award) special on B4U,Wembley Arena
  • Hosted the Valentine’s Day Expo in central London
  • Co-hosted the Desi Falvourz event in the Grand Connaught rooms, London with BBC Presenter Amarjit Sandhu
  • Hosted Gala Bingo’s (interactive) live channel three days a week

January 2014-December  2017:

  • Working as the full timemulti-lingual Presenter for a daily LIVE chat show called ZEE Companion on the biggest Asian station in the world called Zee TV. The role of Presenter involves liaising with guests, scripting (no autocue), researching the topics each day, writing the show blog and also hosting the show every day from Monday to Friday.
  • 2015-2016-Alongside the chat show Natasha hosted a daily music show on Zee TV’s music channel called Zing called Jukebox LIVE. The role included researching, presenting and producing the show. Alongside voiceover work, adverts, Vox pops, hosting the channels events in an array of locations including Wembley Arena, Wembley SSE and Hammersmith Apollo.

  • Hosted the London Mela at Trafalgar Square

  • Voice Over Artist for Zing
  • Hosted the 1st Indian Business Group Awards at the House of Commons
  • Hosted the Atif Aslam UK/Europe tour,
  • Hosted the Colors TV Mayor of London’s Croyden Mela
  • Hosted The Colors TV Festival of Light in Wembley.
  • Hosted Sony TV’s Suron Ki Mehfil in London Opera House, with an array of classical artists and performers.
  • Hosted Bollywood Actor, Salman Khan’s UK Dabangg Tour Press Conference.
  • Hosted the catwalk for London India Fashion week, over two days in Olympia London.
  • Hosted the WTM (World Travel Market) VIP dinner.
  • Compared the LYCA group’s Christmas Party featuring Craig David.

Jan 2018- Dec 2018:

  • Hosted Desi Beat  Season 3 on Colors. (Worth mentioning Natasha’s ratings were record breaking for the show.)
  • Participated in the ‘Rang De’ Holi campaign
  • Hosted the Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa’s concert fest Tulsi Kumar at the 02 and Gravesend
  • Hosted Bollywood Singer Arijit Singh’s concert
  • Hosted the Indian Pakistan London Fashion show Season 2
  • Hosted Farhan Akhtar’s concert at 02 Indigo London
  • Voiceover Artist for Lyca Radio and all of their internal and TV adverts
  • Hosted the Indian Confluence Awards at the House of Commons, feat Bollywood Director Boney Kapoor
  • Became a freelance presenter at QVC London.

Jan 2019- Dec 2019:
